Abstract:
Patients with medically refractory encephalopathy have the very best risk for SUDEP (sudden surprising death in epilepsy); 30%-50% of the patients square measure found dead in bed, usually prone. SUDEP occurred in our case throughout EEG-video observance despite employment of all common protecting measures. Intra-ictal viscus dysrhythmias occurred during this patient suggesting that such could alarm caregivers of impending SUDEP.
