  1. Introduction

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is a new coronavirus that emerged in 2019 and causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). COVID 19 infection led to decreased physical activity and decreased endurance in affected individuals. The death rate is 3 to 5%, with new reports of up to 9%, as compared to influenza at around 0.1%.
The rates of admission to an intensive care unit (ICU) are approximately 5%.Around 42% of patients admitted to hospital will require oxygen therapy. Based on up-and-coming data, individuals at highest risk of developing severe COVID-19 disease requiring hospita lisation and/ or ICU support are those who are older, male, have one co-existing comorbidity, higher severity of sickness scores (measured via SOFA scores), elevated D-dimer levels and/or lymphocytopenia[1].
