Abstract:
Mucocele of appendix could be a rare entity characterised by cystic dilation of the appendix thanks to intraluminal accumulation of mucoid substance ensuing from chronic obstruction of appendix opening thanks to any inflammatory or growth cause. Pre-operative designation is obligatory to differentiate it from cyst carcinoma. we tend to report a case of large mucocele that conferred as symptomless abdominal lump, with transient review of literature relating to its clinical, diagnostic and characteristics.
