Thyroid Combustion: A Unique Finding

Abstract:

Thyroid hemiagenesis could be a rare embryological condition characterised by absence of 1 of the lobes of the ductless gland, with the left lobe being absent in eightieth of cases and right lobe absent in two hundredth of cases (a left to right hemi-agenesis quantitative relation of 4:1). we tend to report a case two|of two}5 year previous feminine WHO bestowed with right neck mass step by step increasing in size over a amount of 2 months. Patient had the history of weight loss and weakness. The patient exercise enclosed associate degree ultrasound neck followed by plain CT neck and distinction CT neck. Ultrasound neck showed absence of left lobe and a part of isthmus of the ductless gland with the correct lobe showing options of inflammation. These findings were supported by plain and distinction CT neck findings.
